Michelle’s Questionnaire
Mrs. Obama proudly boasts in her Princeton Thesis, of having mailed her Questionnaire to 400 African-American Princeton alumni, of which only 78, or 22% bothered to respond.
Read the Questionnaire (begins on page 17) and tell me if you don’t see a reason why she had so few responses. Any self-respecting Thesis adviser, and the organization for African-American Alumni at Princeton, which mailed out the questionnaire, probably didn’t even bother reading Michelle’s questions. How else does one explain, why something written so poorly, could have gotten out? 78% of those who received the questionnaire chose not to respond.
Notice Michelle’s intro page- very little has changed in her diction, since graduating, marrying, working as a lawyer and at the University of Chicago. Just as today, It all sounds like some kind of joke when not sounding caustic. Notice also how complicated the overall approach appears. Who would possibly bother with plowing through this?
The Ivy League, doesn’t seem to mean much anymore. They spent money mailing all this out - and even including posted return envelopes!? This is substandard by any measure.

Her cover letter is written in a far less than mature manner; more like a freshman in college than someone working towards their doctorate.
Obviously, you are not very familiar with surveys. A response rate over 10% is considered very high–22% is very respectable.

What we have is a couple that proposes to become POTUS and First Lady claiming to be agents of “unity”. Gregory’s examination of Barak Hussein Muhammed Obama’s book, and Mrs. Obama’s thesis, illustrates that the Obama’s core beliefs have very little to do with unity (outside of the Black and/or Muslim communities).
