Flineo and The Misunderstood Marx
Another great from Flineo! America is in real danger. Danger of electing a candidate with a track record of despising the country most of us, love. Yet I disagree with Flineo in one crucial respect. Excrement0 is the offspring of Radical politics - not Marxism per se. I know Marxism and Radicalism go hand in hand for most Americans, but not for me.
I am a Marxist of a sort, and I while I am aware of James Cone’s adaptation of Marxism to his Black Nationalist Views, I think Cone’s understanding of Marx was as limited as his understanding of Christianity and America. Cone, and not Karl Marx, is the true ideological godfather of Hussein Ossama.
Marxism as understood in the US since the sixties, is a Maoist form of Nationalist Socialism, and is far removed from the original Humanist Marx best described by the preeminent 20th century Humanist Erich Fromm. This is my Marx, not some Black, Feminist, Gay, or Chinese Marx.
Neither Karl nor Friedrich, would ever condone the cocktail Molotov of Nationalism and Socialism, which is stock and barrel in the Victim communities of today’s America. For both Marx and Engels, the proletariat was not some class of Perpetual Victims, who were looking to foist decades of victimhood and misery on their former oppressors, but a class of hard-working goal oriented individuals (that’s right, not a collective, but individuals), who would find ways to distribute the fruits of their labor in keeping with their productivity, without the interference of financial speculation.
Everything else is a sixties distortion of Marx, perpetrated by ignorant self-interested little groups, sprinkled world-wide, all stuck in stone-age communities, grappling with their bitterness. Marx was about universalism and transcendence, not parochialism and ignorance.
The Soviet Union was not Marx, but a form of feudalism collectivism. It achieved unprecedented equality for women and minorities of a scale never seen since or before on Earth. Granted, nationalism and xenophobia were brutally suppressed, particularly by Stalin, but women made up roughly 40 % of the Parliament for its 80 year existence, and along with minorities, occupied all dominant social positions. China, a cheap nationalist revision of Marxism-Leninism, cannot claim the USSR’s success, as it failed miserably to liberate women, or to grant any inclusive rights to Chinese minorities. For all practical purposes, Chinese Communism was bitterly nationalist from the get-go, more interested in assuaging Chinas 100 years of humiliation by foreign powers, than achieve any social breakthroughs. This was the communism which spread like a cancer in the sixties, as more and more nationalists co-opted Marxism in their struggle against the West.
Karl Marx as I read him, was a man passionate for the Capitalist West, who envisioned not the Cubas and Bolivias of today, but Modern Day America! Central to Marx’s world view, was not the abolition of private property, but the distribution of ownership to ever larger numbers. Marx was not anti-Democratic, nor did he advocate the destruction of Western Liberties and Culture. He was for Universal Suffrage, and the Parliaments against which he railed, were those which did not admit the popular vote, and were limited to the rich and landed.
Contemporary America’s distribution of wealth would not have appealed to Marx, nor would the flagging state of our Democracy, but I cannot doubt, that were Marx to magically re-appear today, evaluate the present state of the world, he would fix his praise on a few developed countries, and express nothing but contempt for the ethnocentrics and nationalists distorting his works for their inane purposes wherever they may hide. Be it in Zuma’s (upcoming nationalist) South Africa, or Mugabe’s Racist Zimbabwe.
I won’t waste readers time with discussions of Marxist orthodoxy as I see it, VS as it is distorted by Racist Radicals such as James Cone, Jeremiah Wright, and Hussein Ossama.
Let me just suggest that my vote for Clinton, is driven by my Marxist affiliation, and the solid conviction that Hillary Clinton
A- is reliable and consistent on International and National Labor Standards. More so than Edwards or her Husband. When I hear her talking about NAFTA, I believe her - something I cannot say about Hussein0.
B- Clinton understands, that key to completing Roosevelt’s Socialist American Project, is Health care. With Health Care Americans have all the pieces of a political apparatus necessary for economic equality. Last but not least
C- Clinton will invest in Education. Hussein0 convinces only the dimwitted, that he will do anything other than institute tougher Hate Speech Laws, to resolve our countries flagging school system.
What we do with our splendid Capitalism beyond these three factors, our ownership in mutual funds, 401ks, or IRAs, is entirely up to each citizen. This is the genius of the Capitalism whose praise Marx sung, and which is more Socialist than any fake Socialism ever known in Russia, China, Cuba, North Korea, and even Yugoslavia (as advanced as it was).
In relation to Flineo’s Present Danger video, I disagree on Marx, I agree on Turd0.
Hussein0 not only threatens our country , because he doesn’t love the same America 80 % of us do, he is first and foremost a Clear and Present Danger to America’s first real chance, at advancing Socialism through health care and increased international labor standards, since 1944!
For all of you, who heroically manned the phones for Oregon and Kentucky, and will continue to do so for Puerto Rico, remember what you are fighting for, and remember why we must continue to fight, till the last vote is counted, and till the last vote is cast in Denver.

God help us if Obama is elected President. I will not vote for him. When I see the long list of losers who voted for him parade up on stage one after the other I can only conclude we are in serious trouble in America. I hope the Blacks are proud of their blind loyalty to Obama when we have no country left thanks to them and all the losers backing him up. Robert Byrd from west Virginia what the hell are Obamamites bribeing them with? I just can’t figure it out the attraction for the supposedly smart people. The Kennedy’s are easy to see through as is Kerry. The ultimate goal is power. The question now is how much trouble is our Country really in with so many Americans blindly voting for this fake golden idle. No one can predict with any certainty how bad things will get when Obama takes down our country from within. I just never knew how many traitors there were here that sit in the most powerful seats in the land. Our only hope now is that the women stick to their guns and defy the Democrats and take Obama down. We have to do it our country is in dire peril with the eminent danger of the election of the muslim Barrack Obama. This primary election in Oregon is so rigged with write in votes. I am done with the Democrats. It is time to start a third party. It needs to rise up now but we all know it won’t in time to stop Obama.

Hillary has a little over half the popular vote today before KY and OR are counted, and this is just the primary! Record numbers of voters have turned out this year. Thanks to Juanita and team on this site and all the other pro-Hillary and other blogs, WE THE PEOPLE are doing the job the biased, sexist media and DNC won’t do–vetting BO and MO, and telling each other about across the internet. We still have time to win it for Hillary.
I am a computer/internet novice, and this herstoric/historic campaign inspired me to learn more about the candidates and the “democratic” voting process through the WWW when I saw early on how much preferential treatment BO was getting and how little fair treatment Hillary was getting along with such blatant misogyny. I am an ardent Hillary supporter and will vote for McCain in November if Hillary is not our nominee.
These wonderful videos by Flineo and others and hard hitting blogs like this one are essential to our democracy. Without free speech, we wouldn’t know all these awful things BO, MO, DNC, MSM, Wall Street oil cartel, foreign and domestic terrorist, illegal money donors have done to promote such an unworthy, dangerous candidate. So let’s keep working to nominate Hillary and expose BO.

I agree that people misunderstand Marxism in this country–(over-)generally speaking, we are an ignorant lot about some important stuff. I disagree about your assertion regarding some South American countries; however, I think you are closer to understanding Marx’s vision than the vast majority of people in this country. There was a survey/study some years ago, asking people questions about things like publicly financed education, etc. The investigators used the Communist Manifesto (I think). Most people agreed with something like 70% to 80% of the items. Then they were asked what they thought about communism or Marxism, etc. People denounced it (them) wholesale, after just agreeing with most of its tenets. Propaganda machines really work!

I’m with you 100%. Yes, this is all about power and Obama learned from the most corrupt political machine in the country — the Daley machine of Chicago. There is no way you rise up so fast in Chicago, without being willing to sell your soul. In fact, Daley quietly for obvious reason, gave a rare endorsement to Obama for the presidency. Quid pro quo comes to mind and that scares the daylights out of me.
Yep, it’s time for women to use the enormous power they do have and put these guys in their place and we better do it now, because if Obama gets in to the WH, I have great concern that actions will be taken to undermine the election process to the point that it is irrelevant and the interet, by which we share information we can no longer get from the media, will be regulated for “national security” reasons.

I hear ya. Believe me, when women finally unite and stick together and fight for what is rightfully there’s and has been since the beginning of time, we must be prepared for some men squealing like pigs at the slaugher.
The thought of women standing their ground, not giving up or giving in to their demands, scares the s__t out of them.
The way I see it, Hillary’s taken a lot of crap for us and has shown just how pervasive and deep misogyny truly is and that we’ve been played like a fiddle by the so-called progressive, enlightened males! They’ve betrayed us and for the last time.
If we do not stand up to this now, we will not be given the chance again. It’s time to strike while the iron is hot and, if we do, we will win. Ironically, by doing so, even the men will win in the end.

It also involves common sense, an ability to see the forest for the trees, while engaging one’s moral compass when making decisions, particularly important one’s that will affect other’s besides yourself. You can’t factor out of the the equalition the fact that huge numbers of women, blue collar workers, Latinos and Asians will not be casting their votes for BO, should the DNC decide to just throw caution to the wind and change all of the rules to favor BO at the Convention, and rob the stonger, more qualified candidate in the process. Obama did well among all the groups you mention in some states. Not in all, of course. Once he’s confirmed as the nominee, a lot of Democrats will overcome their disappointment and get behind him, especially Asians and Latinos. If the presidency is open to Obama, that means that it will one day be open to their sons and daughters as well. It’s a very American, inclusive message.
Women will see accomplished, independent women like Gov Napolitano & Senator McCaskill, and be able to tell their daughters that you can grow up to hold high office without having to stay in a bad marriage to a cheating, sexually harassing narcicist.

Actually, the only way for the DNC to give the nomination to Clinton is to change the rules. She made a pledge on the rules regarding Florida and Michigan. Now she wants to reneg.
If the Democrats abandon their own rules, rules that all the candidates agreed to, the party will collapse. So they will have to stick to the rules, and nominate Obama.
