Apologies
We are ending all daily blogging activity. We intend only a few more posts, in the uncertain future. Our intentions may change, but for now, that’s what they are.
I would like to praise the work of RezkoWatch and Noquarter, which make our own work redundant. Hotair needs no praise, but read in conjunction with these two blogs, the average Clinton voter is well armed to stay the course and vote against Obama in the General. When we started, we were unique. Now, we only contribute to clutter.
We thank all of our readers and supporters, and hope that we can remain a source of well researched articles, and strong editorials, pertaining to the Obama phenomenon. Feel free to contact us through Jamal’s email, with any inquiries.
Again - we do plan on a few more original articles in the future, but our daily activity is over.

Thanks for the extraordinary efforts the four of you put forth for these last several months.
What? What happened? Did the Obamabullies get to you? Were you threatened? No Quarter is good but you always had a unique perspective.
This will be a real loss. There isn’t another site that is a hard-hitting as yours. Will you reconsider?

All four of you offered unique and very forthright views unconstrained by political correctness that don’t really exist at No Quarter, Savagepolitics or even Rezkowatch.
Besides stop-obama is about the only Democratic site that has stood up for the movie Fitna when all others refused to talk about. Talk about guts and intellectual honesty.
You’ll be missed.
I’ll miss checking your no-holds barred take on The One. I wondered how you could take the time it must have taken to do the work you did. I trust whatever else you do will be as excellent, but your youthful perspective will be missed by this PUMA.
Yes, sorry, we simply do not have the time/money to keep up the effort, and I sincerely believe noquarter and rezkowatch and savagepolitics and hotair (republican) are more informative at this stage. We will try to publish a few insightful pieces, but slowly. So if you keep us on RSS feeds, you’ll hear of the update.
btw, we thank you for the Fitna support. I am personally planning on initiating an an anti-Islamic womens association, and encourage everyone to participate in a left-of-center critique of Islam. This isn’t about left vs right, its about everyone’s rights. I simply can’t believe there is so much silence on this issue. Are people really that out of touch with reality? How do people think that forcing (and the families do) young girls to wear veils as signs of their “modesty” works for their sense of equality!?

Thank you for a courageous and inspiring site, I will miss your writing and will eagerly look forward to any future pieces. The thought of Obama as POTUS almost makes me physically sick –especially as a parent of daughters. It is patently clear that Obama views white women as second class.

Hope this is no more than time/money issues - as you’ve stated. That is understandable and your team is priceless. However, considering the right column of your site - again - has a slimy pro-obama video and Jeff’s thread is full of insults and tirades, it is clear this task you’ve undertaken has been very stressful. You all deserve laudits for your courage as well as your insights, information and writing skills.
Sooooo sorry to hear your site is down-sizing from now on. You really are irreplaceable - but must have your reasons.
We can only respectfully accept your decision, in trust that your excellent work will continue in other equally valuable ways. Many more than will comment will surely share this wish: We look forward to anything you post here at any time and we’ll continue to check in on a regular basis, holding that vision of more to come - if not daily. (Great way, too, to throw off the trolls - keep them guessing and wasting time looking for what is next and when.lol)
Thanks again for everything. But must object only to the notion that you are redundant - your site remains unique, without parallel and we pray will remain available in archived form. NO ONE - not NQ etc. have presented such in depth intelligent ongoing analysis. NO ONE has included 3 unique viewpoints as your team. NO ONE has been more dedicated to the truth.
Based on all this we are SURE your talents will continue to contribute in the ways you 3 find most viable.

Oh no!!!! This is the site that has been my favorite since I discovered it just a few weeks ago. I feel like I’m being deserted once again. NoQuarter and SavagePolitics are good, but not anyway nearly as good as STOP-OBAMA. I will sorely miss this site, and want you to “just say it isn’t so”. Seriously, I do appreciate you efforts in dispensing the truths, that so many infected with Obamamania seem unable to comprehend or accept. I wrote a posting to my fitness website (so-called Liberal site) about how great the STOP-OBAMA site was, and why I would not support Obama, and was amazed at the nasty and belligerent and sometimes just plain stupid comments that were made: “We have to stick by Obama and get the Repubs out of the White House” and “You must be a McCain supporter”, and “Roe v. Wade will be overturned by McCain”…and on and on. I started feeling a bit like Tavis Smiley (except I didn’t get the death threats).

This 57-year-old, college degreed White/Hispanic woman has lived through enough sexism to know that the day to day chipping away of a woman’s rights destroys mind, body, soul, family, country. Thank goodness for young warrior women like you who tell it like it is. Your team is unique in all the blogging world. You are PUMA/Just Say No Deal champions from the very beginning.
Please keep your site up for at least a month so we can hard copy your blogs–we will enjoy waving them around in our We the People TOLD YOU SO campaign for democracy in America.
The free press, the few that are still breathing, would do our nation a great favor by hiring you four fulltime. I shall pray for your continuing courage and compassion to speak the truth of our country.

Please don’t quit. I know I personally have not contributed much lately. Things got tight. But they are getting better. I hope and pray it isn’t only money because you were the ones that gave me the information I needed to stand up to Obama and his bulleys. I was sure I was losing my mind and it was only me who felt like the news was all for Obama and the party had lost their minds. I know that it takes a lot of your time but believe me when I say you are not redundant and will never be. We need you and your analysis and America needs you more now than ever. America and the democratic party is in danger of slipping away to this new evil. If you can only put up a few new posts every now and again that’s fine but please don’t stop writing. This site is too important to America. I will donate this week as soon as I get paid. I don’t want to lose such a valuable site. And yes while there are other sites to look at they are not you and do not have your unique perspective and input which we desperately need.

i will really miss the daily posts here. you are all good at delivering information not available elsewhere, but Jamal’s essays are invaluable on what is the idea of the United States. he need not even discuss Obama, he identifies (correctly i think) what our beauties and strengths are, offering a nice counterpoint to the leadership and media that never met an aspect of this nation they like. you will all be sorely missed.
“And the truth shall set you free.” That’s how I felt about this site. There’s not another one like it. Your research and writing enlightened those of us who have little time to do all of that work. The truth never goes away no matter how many lies are out there and myself and so many others see this election season for what it is and will never vote for BO-never. Like jp49 I feel bad I couldn’t contribute when you know who gets hundreds of millions to spread his propaganda but he won’t win in the end –Barack Obama sat on a wall, Barack Obama had a great fall, All the Axelrods and all the sexist men couldn’t put Barack Obama together again.

I agree. So much has happened in the last two days with Obama’s changing his positions on the gun ban, death penalty decisions, etc and his answering Nader’s opinion of him. A weekly assesment of his constant lying would be great.
You should really keep posting. There’s no harm in it. Plus, this is the hiatus. Things will pick up again after August once the nominee is made official.
Also, you can’t give up. It sends the wrong message.
I think that we need this site and others to continue the fight. You can’t quit now. People need to know the truth about Obama.

This is sad news. Stop Obama has always been unique. That’s never changed despite all the anti-obama sites. You all have challenged my thinking on a lot of subjects and I’m a little smarter because of you. Thank you for your articles and all the time you put into this.

this is sad news indeed………to echo what a lot of other commenters wrote, Stop-Obama was unique in the blogoshere, an erudite and unpretentious spot where one could read news not found elsewhere, hear individual and unique voices and not have to worry about the PC Police.
You will be sorely missed and leave a hole unfilled.

Apparently Hillary Clinton’s thoughtful comments yesterday in New Hampshire have FINALLY sunk in. The ONLY holdouts NOW will be racists, but as Hillary said anyone looking at McCain and his plans and comparing them to Obama and his plans and will still vote for McCain is crazy.
I discovered you along about Feb. of this year through my own membership in pro-Hillary boards. I introduced your site to readers at
OpEdNews.com and relished the fact that I help to expose “truthiness” regard BO and his caste of a thousand clowns via Stop-Obama.
We all contribute in small ways to pave the road to higher aspirations. That entails thoughtful analysis, an ability to jetison coventional wisdom for deeper and wider visions. We live in a strange age where Orwellian misspeak is the norm and not just a toss-off cliche. Seems most human technological advances are used to control and marginalize democratic principles. If you understand that underlying precept, you can move forward to counter the pervasive lies.
It is a lonely path; thanks for walking it these past months in the name of truth and justice.
