The Jews of Cleveland (Obama and Farrakhan)

Posted at 6:34 pm under Lies, Postures, etc...

In an interview with Fox, Karl Rove lamented that Hussein-0 didn’t convince him on Farrakhan:

I thought …interesting about his comments about Farrakhan was how narrow he made them. His comment was he disagreed with Minister Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic comments. Farrakhan’s made a lot more comments besides his very virulent anti-Semitic comments. He has made very racist comments about whites and about the black-white relationships in the United States. And I frankly think he ought to be dismissive of Farrakhan in his totality, not simply –

Before Rove could finish, he was interrupted by Alan Colmes, a professing Ossamite-

Actually, Karl, he has. … Not just the debate last night, but speaking to a group of Jewish leaders in Cleveland last week, he said, I have been a consistent denunciator of Louis Farrakhan. Nobody challenges that. And that the award given for his, for example, on behalf of ex-offenders, unrelated to his controversial statements. [rodent]

Now that’s a mouthful.

“Jewish leaders in Cleveland.”
-I’ll get to that.
“Consistent denunciator”
-I already got to that (previous two posts).
“Nobody challenges that.”
-Am I a nobody? (yes, for them)
“award given…on behalf of ex-offenders”.
From Colmes’ mouth, this is either ignorance or a dumb lie.

Before I touch on Cleveland, notice how Colmes conveniently ignores Rove’s assertion about Obama’s narrow “denunciation” and ignores Rove’s assertion about Farrakhan’s general racism. Colmes is only interested in the Anti-Semitic part, so on to Cleveland we go.

Jewish leaders in Cleveland. Never heard of it? They’re keeping it from the Blacks. No, dead serious. It’s full of so many Hobama lies and distortions, brothers in the know around Hyde Park would turn white. Obama is a simple man, and his ideas about Jews reflect his background. As he once remarked

You know, I would not be sitting here were it not for a whole host of Jewish Americans who supported the civil rights movement and helped to ensure that justice was served in the South.

Barry had a lot to say to people in Cleveland that he holds responsible for his existence. He needed to reassure them, that they, and not his black anti-semitic pastor, and his generally pro-Palestinian African-American community in Chicago to whom he refer as brothers and sisters, were his true family. (Barry will lick boots if it means promotion). The Jews of Cleveland had a lot of questions for Obama, about Farrakhan, so Barry had to lie more than usual:

I have been very clear in my denunciation of Minister Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic comments.

Which was a lie, as I’ve talked about clarity (previous post). It is also clearly not a repudiation of Farrakhan, but of some unidentified statements.

I think that they are unacceptable and reprehensible.

Which means nothing, because Hossama’s initial “denunciation” spoke of specific anti-Semitic statements, which no one has identified. If Barry wanted to talk about Farrakhan’s general rabid anti-Semitism, he should have said so. He could have also gone beyond just anti-Semitism, but he clearly isn’t interested in that, as that would imply total rejection, and real denunciation. Barry-0c clearly doesn’t want to repudiate Farrakhan as a man and community leader. A man representing the idea of reverse racism, and Black Nationalism. But Barry admits that

I did not solicit this [Farrakha’s] support. He expressed pride in an African-American who seems to be bringing the country together. I obviously can’t censor him, but it is not support that I sought.

True, but Obama forgot to say that he solicited Farrakhan’s support when he ran for the Illinois Senate. He forgot to say that he benefits from the support, and he has yet to decry the support, and reject it. He forgot to mention what the support implies for his status in parts of the Black community, and the Black vote. Besides, when Hobama says that he cannot censor Farrakhan, is he implying that attacking Farrakhan for supporting him, violates Farrakhan’s freedom? I sense a bit of Farrakhan-is-the-victim-here, card.

And we’re not doing anything, I assure you, formally or informally with Minister Farrakhan.

Depends what Hussein-0 means by we. Considering how much Barry must go out of his way to not allienate black supporters by honestly and truly denouncing Farrakhan, denouncing him for the creep, and maniac that he is, denouncing his own former associations with him, and NOI ilk, then Obama directly relies on Farrakhan’s approval for raking in Black support. Furthermore, if we read Hossama’s “we” as referring to more than just his campaign staff, to include family and friends and pastors and Obama’s church, then “we” are formally doing a lot with Farrakhan. And no, not because he helps ex-convicts.

Before Obama repeated to the Jews of Cleveland that

I have been a consistent, before I go any further, a consistent denunciator of Louis Farrakhan, nobody challenges that.

(Again, “consistent” means making one hapless statement, “denunciation” means weak enough to still get the Farrakhan endorsement, and “nobody challenges” means journalists are pissypants. )

He admitted that

what is true is that, recently this is probably, I guess last year. An award was given to Farrakhan for his work on behalf of ex-offenders completely unrelated to his controversial statements.

Ah, the pretense of imprecision: “recently… probably… I guess.. .last year” … really Barry, we did that in high-school playing hooky…then the repetitive lie “on behalf of ex-offenders” with a unique emphasis “completely unrelated to his controversial statements”. “completely”! As in Obama wasn’t sure when it was given, but knew exactly why… “unrelated”… Barry, you’ve got no shame,

but I’m ashamed

when I see lies like this, I am reminded of Farrakhan’s “Hitler was a great man, maybe he didn’t like blacks, but he was good for the Germans” when I hear Obama’s “completely unrelated” I assume he borrows his style from Farrakhan himself. BTW, Farrakhan is also known to be a great liar, but he can’t give you anything as patently false as when Obama says that Jeremiah Wright, his pastor and man who gave Farrakhan the award in question

does not have a close relationship with Louis Farrakhan.

I talked about this, 1, 2. It’s a lie. Like saying that “Cheney has no close relationship with Rove”

No doubt noticing that his Jewish audience was unfamiliar with the content of many a Farrakhan speech, nor that they were very knowledgeable about the Nation of Islam, Hobama allowed himself the mother of all fabrications, when he clarified that Farrakhan wasn’t such a bad guy after all:

Louis Farrakhan is a resident of Chicago and as a consequence he has been active in a range of community activities, particularly around ex-offenders and dealing with them.

The clincher from the Barry Soetoro Evening Litany of Lies, came when he was pressed on his pastor, who is a notorious racist, and an anti-Semite. Hussein0 brushed off his pastor as a senior citizen about to retire, and a sort of loony uncle that relatives hided in their attics. Just in case his Jewish listeners didn’t get the analogy, he made it blatantly clear:

I suspect there are some of the people in this room who have heard relatives say some things that they don’t agree with.

Yes… especially racist relatives…

Including, on occasion, directed at African Americans that maybe a possibility that’s just — I am not suggesting that’s definitive.

Oh… you’re not suggesting it?… but you are aren’t you?

And so passed Barry Soetoro’s Evening conversation with the people he credits for his existence. An evening full of ridicule directed at what Barry claims to be his most important asset, his community.

PS. Some discerning readers are probably scratching their heads and saying “ok, wait, why is it all about the Jews? I mean Obama isn’t worried about or trying to disavow Farrakhan for being a racist…bigot…separatist…Islamist?”

That’s certainly what Obama would have you think. It’s what he has erstwhile adviser, Karl Rove, thinking.

It should be apparent to any fool that Obama does not denounce or reject Farrahkan, and his pastor has had a long standing relationship w/the man. It’s amazing to me that nobody in the media has the balls to dig any deeper into this or to even demand that Obama give a straight answer.

And I think it’s pretty funny how BO turned it around on the Cleveland Jews, implying that they all probably have racist relatives, so what’s the big deal. He never stops playing the race card, does he? Truly disgusting.

No matter how much the pattern of unsavory Obama associations keeps growing and growing, Obama and his supporters continue to ignore it, or to make excuses for it, or blame the rest of us for not interpreting it properly. However, it’s becoming increasingly clear that the real Obama, not the one he keeps projecting to us, is a radical left wing extremist, who disrespects all the American traditions and values that the rest of us hold dear. Liberal blog sites, supporting Obama, are littered with anti-semitic, anti-Israeli rants. Obama is not even close to being the right stuff to become President of the United States, or Commander and Chief. If Obama were elected president, and it became politically expedient to throw the Jews to the wolves, Obama wouldn’t hesitate. I don’t blame the Jewish community for not trusting Obama.
